Economy to India, or express if you need it sooner
Most student luggage to family in India goes on DTDC economy (about 10–15 working days). You still need the receiver’s Aadhaar or passport details and a phone number in India — this is a courier shipment, not airline baggage.
If the box needs to arrive before you do, we quote DHL or FedEx express (about 4–7 working days) from the same desk. It costs more per kg, but it matches a tight date.
What to bring when you pack at our Surrey desk
Full home address and a phone number someone answers — India PIN or USA ZIP as needed.
For India: receiver Aadhaar or passport details. Students still need KYC; we cannot skip it.
A simple list of what is inside. “Personal effects” is not enough for customs.
Enough time to pack. A 15–20 kg carton takes longer than a sealed drop-off. Weekend hours are 11:30 AM–7:30 PM — please do not arrive with four suitcases right before close.
