DHL or FedEx when a passport, offer letter, or wedding outfit has a hard date. Higher CAD per kg, frequent scans, and a Friday afternoon cutoff you should not miss.
Most of the boxes that leave this counter are heading to India. We weigh in kg, quote in CAD, and tell you whether DTDC, DHL, or FedEx fits the carton in front of us — not a generic worldwide rate.
FineEx books Canada-to-India parcels every week from 12950 80 Ave, Unit 4 — the Newton hub, a short hop from Scott Road and the Delta line. Punjabi, Gujarati, and South Indian families from Surrey, Delta, Langley, and Abbotsford drop boxes here because the desk already knows which items stall at Indian customs and which PIN codes need extra address detail.
You pay in CAD. We charge on the higher of actual weight (kg / lbs) or volumetric weight from length × width × height in cm. A light winter-clothes carton can cost more than a dense 10 kg box of dry goods. That is the quote we give you before the label prints.
Transit windows are working days after handover, not a marketing “as fast as.” Customs in India can add time on either service.

DTDC is the usual value lane for gifts, clothes, and mixed family boxes. Slower, cheaper, still tracked. We will not sell you express if the box can wait two weeks.
Actual kg vs volumetric (cm on most air products). Bring the packed carton, or send three photos with a tape measure in frame, if you want a number before you drive in.
DTDC is the workhorse on this corridor: regular and express India products, last-mile reach into smaller towns, and a price that makes sense for 8–20 kg gift cartons. We walk you through the contents list so the description matches what is actually in the box.
DHL Express and FedEx stay on the board for time-sensitive documents and high-value samples. Same visit, same counter — we put both quotes on the table so you are not guessing from a website that ignores box size.

India requires receiver identification on most courier products. Missing KYC is how a parcel sits after it has already left Canada.
Receiver: full name as on ID, house number, colony or village, city, state, and 6-digit PIN. A mobile number that actually rings in India.
KYC: Aadhaar, Indian passport, or another accepted photo ID for the person taking delivery. We tell you the format the carrier wants before you leave the counter.
Contents: a plain-English list with approx. CAD value. No undeclared electronics, no lithium batteries tucked in a clothes box, no food that Indian customs routinely holds.
Sender: Canadian address and phone. Commercial shipments also need a CBSA export path and an invoice — we flag that before you treat a sample carton like a gift box.

Destination PIN, packed kg, and cm. WhatsApp photos work if you cannot visit first. We reply with express vs economy in CAD.
We can supply cartons and packing at the Newton desk. Pickup is available across the Lower Mainland if the box is already sealed.
KYC, contents list, and any commercial invoice get checked before we print. You leave with a tracking number you can send to family.

Rated 4.8★ from 600 Google reviews — clothes, gifts, and documents booked at the Newton desk, not a call-centre script.
Sent a package from Canada to India and the cost is reasonable. Sahil did a great job in helping us pack the stuff.
I visited DTDC Courier again today and had another great experience. Pritesh and Sahil were both extremely helpful and professional.
Excellent courier service! The staff was very friendly, professional, and helpful throughout the process. They packed my parcel carefully.

Send destination PIN, approx. kg, and box size in cm. We compare DTDC with DHL and FedEx and tell you which billable weight actually applies.
Express is typically 4–7 working days and economy 10–15 working days after we hand the parcel to the carrier. Indian customs and incomplete KYC can add time on either service.
The receiver in India usually needs Aadhaar, an Indian passport, or another accepted photo ID plus a reachable mobile number. Bring those details to the Surrey desk; we will not book a label that we know will stall for KYC.
For most family cartons, yes — DTDC is the value lane. DHL and FedEx cost more per kg and earn their keep when a date is fixed. We quote both when the box could go either way.
Yes. Pickup runs across Surrey, Delta, Langley, Richmond, Vancouver, and Abbotsford. Drop-off at 12950 80 Ave, Unit 4 has no pickup charge. Pickup cost depends on location and carton size.
CAD price uses the higher of actual weight (kg/lbs) or volumetric weight from dimensions in cm. We weigh and measure at the counter so the quote you approve is the amount on the label.
